un mito di perdono

drawn and quartered on millstone of indecision
flayed by knives dull and cruel
vision clouded and blood become ice
limbs drained of strength and mind reeling
once so fixed and filled with purpose
now burned and battered by vicissitude
dream of elation still kept though darkened
a lasting so true and unfettered by demand
a longing so deep and filled with remorse
giving a need without an answer
needing a burden without cause to carry

o for that moment in mist almost gone

for some reason, these words stick in my mind..Maybe it's a regret that most of us feel sometimes..
Always wondering what could have been, had we done something, just the slightest thing ....different.
anyway..the words are beautiful. I'm not much of a poet, so if you get thru to my thick skull,.... that's something..lol
Many hugs...

In the words of one of my favorite shamans, "Oh, wow."
